Jazmine was a Philadelphia native is a native of Philadelphia, and was raised there. Pam her mom was a former backup singer for Philadelphia International Records. They maintained a friendship with Missy Elliott she produced many of the tracks in her debut album like the smash single "Backstabbers" which was produced by Timbaland and composed by Elliott.
